Kate Garrett is the co-founder and CEO of Ciel Medical, a medical device start-up solving major clinical needs affecting mechanically ventilated patients. She recently closed Ciel Medical’s Series A funding. Prior to Ciel Medical Ms. Garrett worked in strategic marketing at Acclarent, and as a catheter development engineer at Pathway Medical Technologies. She has been directly involved in the development and commercial launch of six 510(k) products.

Ms. Garrett has a mechanical engineering degree from Olin College and graduated from the Stanford Biodesign Fellowship for medtech innovation.

Daniel Kraft is a Stanford and Harvard-trained physician-scientist who chairs the Medicine track for Singularity University and is Executive Director and curator for FutureMed.

Dr. Kraft is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics following residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital, and completed Stanford fellowships in hematology/oncology & bone marrow transplantation.
